All quiet on... well, all fronts.

I should have just taken today off as well as the rest of the week.

There is almost no one here today, even half of the crew that is doing construction in my part of the building is gone. Half of the few people that are working today are doing so from home, out of the 30-40 people in the area there are only 5 or 6 in the office.

There is somthing I didn't know.

So I was watching Terminator on G4 earlier today, part of their Movies that Don't Suck series, and at the end they told me something interesting.

I guess they rejected the suggestion of O.J. Simpson because they didn't think of him as a cold blooded killer.

My what a difference a couple of years make.

Yay for technology!

First we had the hanging chad.

Now we have the uncalibrated machine!

It's so easy to vote! A child could do it!

But who did you vote for?

It won't do the Google here...

Wow, Neil Gaiman has a wonderful little story about trying to get a new phone from Tmobil.

It just happened to be the new Google powered phone.

If a big monster kept attacking your house...

I worked from home today, and as I like to do I put the TV on for some noise.

Usually when I do this I leave it on the Discovery, or Science channel. They show a steady stream of shows that I find interesting, but don't necessarily need to have the sound on if I get a call or have to sit through a phone conference.

Boring phone conferences are really what makes working from home nice; nothing worse than a boring phone conference at work, and having something to do to pass the time.

So today when some show came on that wasn't keeping my attention, I made a cruise past the movie channels and Godzilla vs. Desutoroia was on, so I had to watch.

Now in this movie, the made it a point to go through all of the cities Godzilla attacked because he was going back to one that he already visited.

There were at least 3-4 of them, which really made me wonder...

Why do they stay in Japan?

A huge friggin monster has it in for your island, it's time to move!

So as soon as Godzilla appears, it's go time. Bring out our newest secret weapon and we'll obliterate the monster. The problem as I see it with this philosophically is that the last 3-4 times Godzilla has shown up, there is already some other big freakin monster that he kills. Shouldn't Godzilla activity then warn you that the shit has hit the fan, and there may be some other big frickin monster on the loose? Once is a coincidence, three times in a row and I start looking around.

So now, I combine my first to points and come up with this idea: With all of their technological super weapons, just take over some other place to live if they don't want to be part of another country! In this one they had some type of portable black hole orbital weapon satellite, I would think they could take over Fiji at least.
